The best way to learn about NFTs is by immersing yourself in communities you find engaging. Take your time, do your research, and ask questions. Most users are very friendly and share valuable tidbits like which platforms to try or what to consider when minting an NFT, so jump in a Twitter space and join a few Discords!
Meaningful connections online can happen through something as simple as bonding over a PFP in a Twitter Space. This is how the Lucky Ducky NFT founders met!
In Web3, reputation is everything. Having a mutual, trusted network is crucial, and how Jeremy and Shrimp were able to establish a bond over trust so quickly.
Create your own luck. Jeremy relocated to the other side of the country for an internship opportunity, which in turn put him in the right place and the right time for Robot Chicken started hiring.
The real disruptive factor of bottom-up, NFT-native IP for entertainment is that there can be a proven fanbase and community for a property, even before being announced and created by a studio!
The exact mint date is yet to be announced, but the Lucky Ducky team is aiming for mid-February. The collection will feature 7,777 family friendly PFP (profile pic) NFTs, each with a unique set of traits (including ten fully animated uniquely composed 1-of-1s), with a mint price of 0.0777 ETH.
